How does a refurbished machine differ from a new machine? Some of the refurbished machines we offer are no longer in production. If you do not need all of the features in the new HUMAC NORM Extremity System a refurbished machine may be your solution. You can buy the features you want at the price you need.
A refurbished machine is not a new machine. Refurbished machines may have some scratches, the cushions a bit softer, and the paint yellowed. From a measurement viewpoint the unit will be as accurate as a new unit.
What does refurbished mean? When CSMi refurbishes a machine we do more than simply remove the unit from one facility and install it in another.
When a machine is received we disassembly it. When the unit is reassembled we replace all of the strap and any upholstery that is torn. All moving parts are cleaned and lubricated. Worn mechanical parts are replaced. The dynamometer is rebuilt, burned in, and tested to original factory specification. The old software, controller, and computer are replaced with new HUMAC WindowsXP Software, USB Compatible controller, and DELL Computer with Flat Panel Monitor. The system is covered by a factory warranty and installed at your facility by a CSMi trained technician.
